Wealth management is a client-centered financial planning service that combines comprehensive investment management with broader life planning goals. This can include portfolio management, retirement planning, legacy planning, philanthropic giving, and multi-generational wealth transfer, among other services. Our goal is to help you maximize your investments while prudently managing risk — so you can focus on what matters most in your life.
We operate under the fiduciary standard whenever we provide investment advisory services. This means that anytime we give advice or manage assets in our role as investment adviser representatives, we are legally obligated to act in your best interest.
Aul Financial Group was founded in April 2011. We have spent over a decade building long-term client relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and personalized service.
Our investment management fees are based on a tiered percentage of the assets we manage on your behalf — with the ability to offer fee adjustments. For life insurance and annuity products, we receive compensation from the insurance companies whose products we place. When providing investment advisory advice or managing assets in our role as investment adviser representatives we are legally obligated to act in your best interest. Your financial advisor can walk you through the full fee schedule during your initial consultation.
Unlike a brokerage firm, Aul Financial Group does not earn commissions from buying or selling securities. We operate under the fiduciary standard whenever we provide investment advisory services. This means that anytime we give advice or manage assets in our role as investment adviser representatives, we are legally obligated to act in your best interest.
Absolutely. For clients outside the St. Louis, MO area, we are happy to collaborate with you in whatever way is most convenient — by phone, video conference, or any virtual format you prefer.
We work with clients who have at least $500,000 in investable assets. That said, we also consider partnering with individuals and families who have strong future growth potential — whether through an inheritance, a career trajectory, or other expected financial gains. We encourage you to reach out if you have questions about whether we are a good fit.
In addition to our full range of traditional wealth management services – including financial planning, investment management, tax strategies, legacy planning, and family office support – our team includes specialists with deep experience in focused areas, such as:
Lifelong learning is one of our core values. As your needs evolve, so does our commitment to providing thoughtful, specialized support tailored to your unique circumstances.
Choosing a financial advisor is one of the most important decisions you will make for your financial future. We encourage you to take your time and ask the right questions. Key factors to consider include:
The right advisor should bring clarity, not confusion. Look for someone whose approach aligns with your goals, values, and expectations — and who you trust to prioritize your interests more than anything else.
We recommend meeting at least once a year. New clients typically begin with quarterly meetings during the first year, then transition to semiannual or annual reviews based on their needs. Life changes — and so do we. If something comes up and you need to connect sooner, we are always available. Every client’s situation is unique.
To make the most of your meeting, consider bringing: recent tax returns, employer-sponsored plan statements (401(k), pension, etc.), and any documentation related to significant life changes, such as a new job, marriage, divorce, birth, or inheritance.
